How do I set up my Sensi thermostat to work with Google Assistant?

All Sensi thermostats can be controlled with Google Assistant if you have an Android smart device with “Okay Google” turned on, and an internet connection. Follow these steps to get started:

Step 1: Set up your Sensi thermostat

• Download the Sensi app and create an account, or sign in to your existing account.
• In the Sensi app, click “+” to add a thermostat to your account, and follow the in app instructions to connect Sensi to Wi-Fi.

Step 2: Connect your Sensi thermostat to Google Assistant

• On your Android phone or tablet, touch and hold the Home button or say “Okay Google” to activate Google Assistant.
• In the top right corner, tap the blue menu icon, and then more options (3 vertical dots).
• Tap “Settings.”
• Tap “Home control.”
• In the “Devices” tab, tap the “+” icon to add a device.
• Select “Sensi.”
• Enter the email and password associated with your Sensi account.

Step 3: Give your Sensi thermostat a nickname in Google Assistant (optional)

• On your Android phone or tablet, touch and hold the Home button or say “Okay Google” to activate Google Assistant.
• In the top right corner, tap the blue menu icon, and then more options (3 vertical dots).
• Tap “Settings.”
• Tap “Home control.”
• In the “Devices” tab, tap the thermostat you want to rename.
• Tap “Nickname,” and enter your desired nickname.
